Wow, this was a fun project. Dude (code for anonymous) contacted me, said he was going to sell this knife and would I shoot it since it was never properly photographed. Said the knife had been published in a book which he would include. Everything arrived (including sheath, authenticity certificate) and I pondered what to do. The banner type composition was suggested to me by the book as it lay open at the section about Jerry. The knife itself is also seen in the book, using WIP shots. It is a stunning piece of design - a study in simple elegance as applied to a big 'ole knife. Add to that a premium stag handle on fire and a mind-blowing layered steel pattern in the blade...:thumbup:
The engraving binds it all together and offers dramatic focal points - the front of the guard for example.

wow! my eye just dont stop anywhere on that image and i keep on noticing more...just like the knife...wow!
