Slightly larger than his Sendero hunter, featuring a beefier drop down handle, the Game Master is Jerry's solution for the sportsman's hard-work needs during extended outings in pursuit of larger game.

This particular Game Master is a gussied up version, and one of the nicest, if not the fanciest, that I've seen. Note the mystery metal spacer in the guard. I failed to ask about it and must now embarrass myself by guessing. There are a number of possibilities but I'll say it's blued steel that has a strong magenta tint. I hope to be set straight on this point soon. Attractive Damascus blade, beautiful fossil ivory and very nice engraving all contribute to the unified feel of this prized knife.

Yep, that's a fancy hunting knife sure enough.
As pretty as it is, you can bet it would earn it's keep in the field.

Yes sir, I can just see that knife covered with blood and guts, especially all in the engraving...........NOT! I do agree, however, it would hold it's own against any hunter out there. Jerry is getting better every year. It's probably rubbing off of those Arkansas hill billys he runs with. :D

Great knife, Jerry.....up to your usual standard in every respect..........and Buddy you did your part perfectly as well.

If someone wants to give me that knife... I PROMISE I will get it all covered with blood and guts. ;):D

I really like Jerry's Game Master design. This one really rocks! A super piece, and wonderful image.

Jerry Fisk is one of the few makers that I can think of whose work I like on every level. That's a magnificent piece, and the owner is very fortunate.

Gorgeous knife to say the least... The Game Master feels SO good in hand, bigger than you expect, but perfect and balanced.

Congrats on a real treasure.

Thought I would post this side-by-side image of a GameMaster and a Sendero to offer reference to the
differences & similarities Buddy spoke of for these two very popular Fisk hunting knife designs.

Though the GameMaster blade is generally always wider, length will vary on both models.
I suggest dropping by Jerry's table at a show and handling both, I think you will agree that both
designs are very confortable in hand and purpose driven.

Nice!!! Of course, the scary part is this many will tell you that ivory still makes one of the best handles for a hunting/skinning knife because it gets sticky instead of slick when covered with blood and guts.;)
