After two very productive weeks, in wich we were able to save some ten years of experiences in our careers, not to mention the creation of our own Knifemakers' Association, Jerry left Monday evening to the US.
Here are some of the pics we tok during the seminar. More stuff will be published in Knives Illustrated and blades International soon.

On this one, you see gaucho knifemaker Luciano Dorneles forging a damascus steel bar.

Here is another of me, Flavio Ikoma, Ricardo and Roberto Lála hammering a damascus bar. In the end, we lost this bar but learned a lot from it.

It was, indeed, a afntastic experience and it should leave a mark in the future work of each maker who was there.
here you can see Jerry at the morning briefing - not only a great maker, Jerry really knows the knife business and is an excellent teacher.

I bet you guys had a ball..Having a person like Jerry with you for 2 weeks would definatly help out with all the questions you could ask and give a heack of a kick start to anybodys career..
Can't wait to see the articles.
