Last week the brazilians bladesmiths had the joy of receiving the Mastersmith Jerry Fisk and his fiancee Bob. Jerry took some days to rest. He stayed with his friend Ricardo Vilar (ABS Journeymansmith). On Saturday (March 6) Jerry spoke with brazilians bladesmiths. He told us some valuable knowledge. Also present was brazilian Mastersmith Rodrigo Sfreddo.
This is the third time that Jerry comes to Brazil. The first time in 2001 he helped found the Brazilian Bladesmith Society (SBC).
All brazilians bladesmiths has the honor to welcome you Jerry.
We thank you!!!!

Man, what a crew.....:)

I know that Jerry can hold his own with the best of 'em when a good time is to be had. ;)

Good post. Not sure who Jerry is engaged to but maybe Bobbie and not Bob? :o Eduardo looks mean, he just needs to market his knives as " Buy one and I won't choke or put you in an arm bar..." :D

This Sendero's Replica I did when he heard that Jerry came to Brazil. I'm very admirer this model and wanted him to see my interpretation.

I was very happy with this damascus of this bowie. One of the best contrasts of my works.

Eduardo, I know Jerry must have given the thumbs-up on that Sendero. It's a beauty as is the Bowie.
Know Jerry was really looking forward to going down there. Bob is one fine lady and Jerry is a lucky man.

Nice to see a group of really happy guys... When all of them
are world-class bladesmiths and one even a National Treasure,
this makes it a world-class event too... :)

Yes, lets see some more pictures, please!

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)

Thanks for the report and pics - some really nice work on those knives.

Dear Kevin what most impresses us about Jerry is its simplicity. In addition to a great Masterbladesmith is also a great person. Now is a great friend.
I'm very happy you liked the knives.
Dear Darom I'm gonna ask Sfreddo, Vilar and Silvana Mouzinho post more photos.
All the best.
E. Berardo

Great pics. Thanks, Eduardo !
Jerry and Rodrigo look like they need a meal. :D

Doug
ps...more pics, please.

Great looking knives and looks like a grand time.

Some of the best work in the world is coming out of Brazil. Mr. Sfrado has really set the bar extremely high

I like Jerry's tropical versien of his standard hat

wow. looks like you guys had fun. I had no idea that there was an openly gay knife maker out there. and a well known one at that. that's very interesting. I thought i was going to be the first:p-i wish Jerry and Bob the very best.

Er, post nos. 8 (ckerwin) and and 12 (Kevin Jones) indicate that "Bob" is a lady.

Bob is one fine lady and Jerry is a lucky man.
