I went to an NKCA show this weekend and picked up this Jerry Halfrich Winchester lockback folder.
Super light with the Linerless Carbon Fiber scales, and I really like the look of the Devin Thomas damascus with Carbon Fiber. The matte finished shield and pins also goes great with the Carbon Fiber I feel.
Its the smoothest opening and closing knife I've ever held, and the sharpest.

Not to good at pics, so I can't really do this fine piece justice.
 
Jerry is a fantastic knife maker and hell of a nice guy. I have a couple of his pieces in my collection. Congratulations on a very nice acquisition.
 
That looks like either some D-2 and 154cm damascus or some 3-V and 154cm that i made.

Ken did he tell you anything about the steel?

Just got off the phone with Jerry, and he did tell me the Damascus had 154 in it, but didn't mention if it was D2 or 3-V with it.

I do know your Damascus is a thing of beauty though.....I can't quit looking at it, so I just made it my PC backdrop:p

Thats a beautiful piece I love it. I had no idea there was damascus being made out of steels like 154cm, D2, and 3V. That's pretty amazing, I'm gonna have to step up my "product knowledge". Awesome pick up Ken :thumbup:

I'm pretty sure its 3V with the 154cm. I saw another model of his that had Damscus that looked just like it. The site said it was 154cm and 3V, and I'm pretty sure he just bought the one type from Devin. Ordering another knife from Jerry, so I'll ask when I talk to him.
