This is a linerless version of Jerry's LB-5 lockback.The "medium" size,3-7/8" closed,a 2-3/4" blade,and 6-5/8" open .CPM 154 ss,a semi skinner,no need for a nail nick,swedged tip & filed thumbrest
Light, smooth & tight.Sharp as anything Just in time for a hunting trip, hope it brings luck, the timing was great, the knife is perfect
I've been thinking about this ever since I handled one on Jerry's table at Blade
One of the nicest folders I've ever had ,Thank You Jerry.

Thanks Jim,I wanted to post this here in the custom knife forum, rather the traditional forum. This is a design by Jerry, and IMO it is a high performance custom folding lockback hunter . This is all Jerry here! And what knife!

I am very,very pleased

I think I will send him some of my G-11 to make the same model when he gets time. I have a couple of his and if this one is like any of mine, the hairs on your arm fall off just by waving the blade at them, it scares them right out of the roots.:D

Vince, that is something. I'm looking forward to one from Jerry....wow what a knife!

I got mine a couple of weeks ago...it's everything Vince says. The medium is the heat :)

Very nice , a Jerry Halfrich just went on my must get list.

The picture of the knife in hand really shows its ergonomics. And a lockback to boot , I love everything about it.

John, it's very thin (.38") and light (2 ounces on my scale). Rock solid lock up. It's deceptive in that it has a pretty thick spine that really adds stiffness to the blade, but Jerry grinds it so thin it slices like a laser.

Beautiful clean lines! Nice folder for pocket carry!

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)

If I get time tomorrow I'll add a few more shots of this knife. This is no doubt one of the nicest ,unique & useful pocket folders I've ever had.Jerry has an all time great winner here.Thnks for the comments & bringing it back up John & all,
-Vince

Looks like a great pocket knife...I want one. Please post a shot of it closed and one of the lockup if you get a chance.

I managed to get a few more today. These show the filed blade spine, lockbar, and swedge,as well as thin-ness & closed positions
Notice the taper of the grind from the back of the blade to the tip

I can picture,a bolstered,or non bolstered version ,with Ivory scales, that would be the version of this knife with liners :)
Thanks Again Jerry ,
Safe & Happy Holidays everyone,
