A BIG thanks to Jerry Hossom, BenDibble, spaceinvader, and Tinysd for tips on photographing knives.

Talk about 'flow' 101. I see about 10 design elements that I like on this knife.

The 'ugly green micarta' really allows this to show how essential shape and function is primary to an appealing knife.

Well done by all parties.

SWEET score!! Like Mr. Coop said Jerry's work does have a certain "flow" that is very pleasing to eye.
Stay Safe,

Serious knife indeed, I dig it.

Roger

Coming from you, THAT is a compliment and a half!

Just curious, as to your response to Roger's opinion. I find Roger very subjective and generally positive in his evaluations. He will usually not comment if does not care for a knife. Again, just curious.

Myself, I also find the flow and execution of features on this piece to be absolutely excellent. The blade profile with the recurve, thumbrest, finger grove and mosaic pins all benefit the overall.:thumbup:

I can only imagine however, the beauty of this knife with a substitution of a gorgeous and well executed piece of desert ironwood over that putrid color micarta.
Sorry, but if we accept the good, we must accept the bad. ;):)

Hello Kevin,

I have met Roger and know him to have VERY fine taste in knives, and THAT is all!

I dont care for green micarta, but you get what you get and thats that?!?!

I dont think that wood would ( how much could I chuck?) suit me and my tastes, I would prefer dyed red bone handles on ALL of my knives, but if we all liked the same things we would only need 1 forum with only 1 section it encompassing all of our opinions, wouldnt we?

I do take the good with the bad and thanks for replying!

Cheers,

Ron LaBella

Yes Roger knows his stuff. I like the amber and red bone and stag myself.
Anyway, great piece.
