...just got off the phone with Jerry, The King, himself. It is a true pleasure being able to talk to someone who in all rights could be delegating all such calls to his employees. being able to make that personal connection with the man that makes such an excellent product makes it all the easier to part with the ca$h. Other businesses come and go and Jerry will continue to grow and remain the best maker out there not only because his knives really are the best, but because he knows how to take care of a customer, and make each one feel valuable.

I agree, it truly is amazing how acessable he is. I like the fact that I can buy a Busse with 100% confidence. This includes the warranty (If I should ever by chance break one, and I have only heard of two in the last 4 years. One by OwenM that had been modified, and the other by Cliff Stamp which had been modified as well. Oh, and they were both the Basic series, which is an altered and inferior version of INFI.) And secondly the resale value. Busse knives appreciate at a rate much higher than that of the NYSE!!! If you don't believe me, just ask the Skunk!
 
I just had the same experience this morning call to give my payment info for a couple of knives and Jerry aswered the phone I even got invited to have a beer at blade west! :D :D :D
 
Oh Jeez frogfish! You didn't fall for that one did you? Jerry's just cruising for free beer. Don't do it... it's a trap!:D
 
I would like to agree with all of the above, not sure about the beer??

I take a lot of grief from the office staff around here for picking up the phones . . . . But I can't seem to help it. . . Every time I hear that puppy ring. . . I hear the possibility of free beer!!!!!:eek: :eek: ;) Hey, I'm a giver, I admit that. I believe in giving other folks the opportunity to buy me beer. ;)

Mostly, I blame you guys for being opportunists! If you would quit taking me up on "the opportunity to buy me beer" I would probably quit answering the phones. ;)

Last time I called, Jerry answered. Said he gave the ladies the afternoon off. Seems I remember him saying the same thing on my previous calls.

WHAT A NICE GUY. That crew is really lucky working for such a generous individual!
 
Ok, this thread is getting out of hand!! Jerry......I want to know what you promised these guys??!! Now who would you rather have a beer with? Jerry(hairy and full of testosterone) or Shag and I(not hairy and female)?!!! LOL!!:D :D

Now remember, Jerry may make the knives but Shag and I take your orders!! Be careful how you answer this!!

Jerry doesn't let you girls grind knives so keep him from answering the phones. ;) I just spoke with BB and I can't imagine any hairy ole guy giving me such excellent service. :D Grind Jerry grind!
 
OK, I should add... after having the pleasure of just talking to Kassi... she also makes the company great to deal with. A true pleasure to talk with, and I am not just saying that because she promised to throw an extra prototype knife into my shipment! :eek: :eek: :eek: :D :eek: :eek:

Wait, I bet you could make a bunch more sales with the Blade Babe calendar! Each month a picture of you holding a new prototype or classic Busse knife.A portion of sales would go to your favorite charity of course :eek: :footinmou :eek:
