Are the Lean Mean Streets going to have the new matte (krinkle) finish? The Mean Streets (.23"stock) that Dave and Frank had at the KCR shoot looked *#!&in awesome with it

Secondly, were there any Mean Streets produced with the ? 5/16" stock that some of the reported Badgers were run with? One I have seems extremely thick (even next to a BM).

Thirdly, I don't mean to nag, but why is the Mean Street on it's last leg (if indeed it is). It seems as though a lot of people really like it (possibly this is only in my drunken bubble world perception

Strabs, yes some mean streets came in 5/16, as did badgers and steel hearts. I have one of each in those three models. I dont know about the Battle Mistress. Big Difference...

I too have wondered about the status of the Mean Street. Since the Game Warden has gone bye bye (which I thought it was I may be mistaken) what will busse do for an everyday carry piece. Is the Mean Street to be replaced or discontinued all together? Cause I gotta say... I love mine. Just sent it up to Canada to have a neck sheath made for it and am lost without it.

Probably....still working that out.

Yes...Mean Streets and Badgers BOTH had special government order over-runs in 5/16th stock and several filtered to the Busse Combat customer constituency.

Jerry is planning a detailed post as to why, but in short, it has to do with the E handle and the amount of steel it consumes from a raw sheet of INFI steel during the laser cut.
