Jerry,

Don't listen to Andre I haven't pulled the trigger yet.

piglet

Yeah just do that and give me the last one made AND the highest number. Then we will know how many was made.

Cheers,

André

:D Jeffery thats a cool request getting the very last one i indeed neat. You know exactly how many were made and you know yours is the hottest off the grinder

Ya'll do realize Jerry can put any number he wants to on there? :D

Careful.

You might wind up with #1,985,327 (but with only 500 really made).

I haven't ordered one yet hoping my budget can catch up with my INFI addiction.

I think there are a lot of guys just like me.

I hope Jerry will give us a "heads up" before it's over for the current offerings.

I already have my order in and still think Jerry should keep going. In the end, there is a LOT MORE to the value of this knife than its collectability.

Numbers on Busse knives don't really mean anything except for maybe #1 and we already know who got that one.

I'm still thinking about 4 or 5 more regular FBMs...

Ordered an FBM and a HOGFBM-LE the minute they came out.

I was thinking about going LOOOONG on the FBM and FBM-LE in a similar way but the last two posts concerning failures of the blades has me a bit concerned, and I wouldn’t want to be holding the bag on $3,000 worth of knives if these things start busting.

If the tip of a skeleton key can’t stand up to being pounded into concrete and then kicked a few times… well I just don’t know. But then that is a small knife. Busse did stand behind the warranty though, and you have to give them a huge thumbs-up for that.

But then when Skunk pounded his knife into the face of a cliff and hit it with some kind of high energy torpedo and it busted…. Well that just got me concerned. That was a much bigger knife.

I was hoping to go to Yosemite National park next summer with the FBM-LE and turn Half Dome into two Quarter Domes and maybe a little change. Now I’m not sure that this is the right knife for me.

I’m now considering Frost Cutlery instead.

Hit it with anything less than a "photron torpedo", and you'll be just fine... ;)

Bravado,
No, not really, although it sometimes seems like it. I have been here 10 years, care of USDOJ, my employer.:) Why do you ask?

Good thinking. I found you a knife BTW.

It's United Cutlery and not Frost, but just look at these lines....

I hunt and I often wind up shooting my knives by accident.

I need a knife that can withstand high velocity centerfire projectiles.

After reading your thread, I'm thinking I need some Frost steel myself.

I lived there for quite a few years. You should look David Brown up if you don't know him already.

As practical a knife as I have ever seen. ;)
