The top one is the very early and rare first swedge. The middle one is the later swedge. But what is the bottom one?

Per the seller:
"Edge - The original edge has been ground off and a new convex edge has been ground on by a Master Blade smith. It is a much better edge and works very well. It is also much easier to sharpen in the field. Blade is natural finish and has slight gloss to it. It is NOT a super bright polish Condition is used, but in very good shape. This knife has not been used very often, only as a demonstration knife is a cutting competition excecise that involves cutting through a 1.5" piece of free hanging hemp rope. This knife passed this test Sheath is a stock Busse black Kydex sheath. "

I E-mailed the seller and asked if the swedge had also been reground. He said that it was an original ZT NO except for the edge.

I had one just like the top one, one of the sharpest knives I have ever owned. I have never seen the one on the bottom. It is cool too.

I like the first swedge best. The 2nd one is I think more common in the ZT line. That is also the same swedge on the BIBB which I am fairly sure came from a ZTSH blank. I have never seen the third one in the ZT line but I won't be surprised if it came from the shop that way. But only Jerrry or the shop manager at the time will know for sure.

I'd agree that the BIBB seems to be a ZTSH with the back of the blade ground out, and the handle ground into a euro handle. I'd like to see a pic of a ZTSH and a BIBB side by side.

As far as I've heard, only the ZTNO's have the slightly different swedge grind, and there weren't that many of them IIRC. Most ZTNO's had a similar swedge grind as the rest of the ZT line. :D
