It's a good question.

We try to mix up blade lengths and intended applications so that we are not offering 12 EDCs in a row or 12 choppers or fighters, etc. . .

Most of the time we make up a batch of prototypes. . . beat 'em to death. . . send some out for beatings by some of the more notorious knife killers. . . batch a boat load to some in field troops to destroy. . . .take their feedback. . .make changes based on their experiences. . . We drink a lot. . . . then drink a lot more!!!!. . . . And then we launch!!!

I like the sound of that, Lets Launch! Has a very, very nice ring to it.
 
I have always felt the process was mystical.

Much like the wine-maker's famous: "We sell no wine before it's time."

Somehow, Jerry just "feels" when it's right.

So far, so good.
 
Sometimes I try to come up with some variations on a design that I'd really like in one of the knives I have... but I can never get anything that looks nice or will make it more useful to me :eek: I tried to come up with some BWM variant and it sounded good until it got on paper. The designs are pretty much great already. The only thing I would change is making sure all the knives over 5" have a hole in the rear of the pommel, near the spine. I like my lanyards toward the rear of the hand than the front.

You make it sound so simple! Let's launch some more knives (let me get my AA first tho :p)! What new designs are lurking around in that funhouse you call a knife shop? How about a sneak peak at something from "The Future?" Something new and exciting.. You make it seem like so much fun to work there that I am convinced you have oompa loompas (INFI LINFIS?) in the factory helping you out... :D
