I just want to say thanks for making the best blades I have ever had the pleasure of carrying.
I was introduced to your knives about 2 years ago or so on a camping trip. I broke two Kabars batonning hard wood, and a friend's friend got out his Steel Heart. I was blown away. It made mincemeat out of that wood and laughed at my broken Kabars.
I now own several Busses.
I used to scoff at $300+ knives until I actually saw that Steel Heart at work. If the world as we know it was coming to an end and I could only have one knife to last me the rest of my life, I would take a Busse.
My only complaint? I don't have enough. These things are addicting. And I can only justify so many by telling my wife I plan to leave them to our kids. Last time she asked me "how many knives that will last forever do you think they'll ever need?" She just rolled her eyes when I said "more." I think I need a new excuse.
