Saw this recently in a bar and thought the Bossman must have tried this stuff. Anyone else tried this stuff yet? I'm probably going to buy a bottle this weekend and kiss goodbye to sobriety for a day or two.

It does seem logical, but ... well ... it's "just rum." Not gonna do it for a man with his sophistication (and liver).;)
 
It is basically Captain Morgan. Used to buy that stuff when I was buying bulk liquor for parties in college to save some money. You might kiss sobriety good bye for a day or two, but then count on another day or two for a good hangover.
 
Salior Jerrys is good rum. However it is spiced, which I'm not a huge fan of. They licensed "sailor" Jerry's tattoo art for the bottle, which is pretty awesome. Overall a very good, but spiced rum.

I'd recommend Lemon Hart, Goslings, or even 10 Cane over it.
 
While we're on the subject; I see al ot of bourbon and single malt scotch drinkers here...any Irish Whiskey fans? I am partial to Red Breast myself.

I have a bottle of Jameson sitting here and I was trying to decide whether to get into that or something else tonight. Ill take this as a sign of fate that Jameson is the answer. Thanks mongo. Ill save the Scotch for tomorrow night.
