As you would know, Jess Horn is one of the great maker in custom knife world, and I do like his knives.
He makes superior knives over 40 years, and none of his knives disappointed me.

Here are three of typical models in my collection...his making year of 10th, 25th, 40th.
You would see that his knives have been keeping the basic and also have been evolving as well.

Please enjoy !

Beautiful trio and yes Jess Horn is an awesome knifemaker. The stag handled one is really a sweet one and congrats.

Very nice. I bet those costed a pretty penny. Definitely worth it if you have that kind of money.

Quite the trio.....those three make a superb collection in themselves.

Thank you very much for kind comments.

kyj great knives how does he make the pins turn out as you show.?dennis

Yes, his bolster finish is perfect...especially the material of the pivot pin and the bolster are made of same sort of steel.
But his pivot pin itself is the most important essence of his smooth and comfort action.
This is a special pivot pin, and the only center part where touches blade is thick.
The blade hole for pin is larger than the bolster hole for pin.
And if the pin is hit from one side, the pivot pin will not be come off.
The thick part of the pivot pin where touches blade is ultra precisely finished, and is 1/1,000 inches longer than the thickness of the blade.

It makes the ultra action of his folders, and he has been doing it from more than 30 years ago...
