is it flat on both sides
im wanting to get it engraved on both

If you've seen one side of a stainless Jester, the other side looks the same. Aside from the chamfered edge, they're absolutely smooth and flat on both sides, a perfect canvas for engraving. And to make things even better, the Jester, in any flavor, is a really great little knife.

thanks
what do you mean by chamfered edge?
do you mean serr.

he's referring to the edges of the handles. rather than the flat sides running all the way to sharp corners, they are beveled -- the edges are ground down for a more comfortable grip.

abe m.

they talk about the edges of the handles, not the edge of the blade. it's just that the handle isn't made of 2 pieces of metal that are just cut to the good shape, they are also beveled on the edges, to improve comfort.

Poor choice of words on my part, should have said the perimeter of the handles are chamfered. While it is no where near as noticeable on the SS Jester as it is on the SS Delica or Endura, it is present, at least on the ones that I have owned. Might just add that a surface need not be flat to be engraved, for example the handle of a stainless Kiwi is just one big compound curve, but...
