Anyone find it hard to type after grinding for 4 straigh hours??
My fingers wont move to the keys that my brain is sending them to
.....
On with my question:
I just rebuilt a variable speed scroll saw. It now has plenty of power operating at a VERY slow speed.....Probably slower that one could move a jewelers saw!! The tension adjustment is working fine with the very fine wood blades.
NOW...... I would like to find a source for blades, possibly carbide? Maybe Bi-Metal?? Or....is it a carbide or diamond grit blade?? That will cut abrasive materials like soft stone, MOP, CF and G10. Other uses would be to cut curved liner slots in Ti. for folders and other curved shapes in Ti. that I can't mill.
I have seen pictures of people doing lapidary work using such a blade. They use them also for cutting stained glass and for doing inlay work in wood with MOP and abalone. I know many people cut Ti. with jewelers saw blades.
The metal cutting scroll saw blades last about 10 seconds on G10 and wont touch Ti.!!
Any input would be GREATLY appreciated!
Thanks,
Neil
