Hey Guys...just want to share my new JG Norseman. It's been a month since I've carry it, wanted to share some thoughts.

Here it is...this is #202 Sept 2013 run. I've placed my order back in March 2013. Nothing fancy, just plain jane through out.

What I like about this Norseman the most? Well, by far it is one of the smoothest blade deployment I've ever own. Thumb stud fires much harder than the flipper. You can actually feel a strong jolt when firing with the thumb stud. With the flipper, it's just very smooth. It is smooth opening, but surprisingly the dis-engagement (folding) is so easy you can actually do it gravity but I don't know what John did but it feel like there is counter weight. Firing it open feels like an auto, but closing the blade feels like the pivot screw is too loose but once it closed, it's secures in place.

Check out this thumb stud...John really got this right. At the base of the thumb stud it's concave in, resulting in a solid pinch when your thumb press against it. It is just right...it doesn't cut your thumb though. Really gives it enough friction to fire the blade hard.

blade spine.

I was surprised how well the pocket clip works with my Jeans...clips on and off at ease.

Centering:

This is one of my favorite feature, the LBS is placed internally.

Hope you guys enjoy this short take on the J GRIMSMO NORSEMAN. For the price I paid and time waited...it is worth everything I've put into it.
