JH vs HR

I currently own a Hell Razor (one of my favorite knives) and have been looking at the new Jack Hammer..... For those that own both could you right up a little review comparing them both (pro, cons, etc) Thanks
 
I was wondering the same thing. They look fairly similar and about the same size. If anybody has both could they please post a couple of pics of the two together - Particularly a spine shot comparision?

No kidding!?! :confused: I would not have guessed that. It didn't look as wide as an HR, but did look pretty similar. I'm looking for a piece of INFI that is not real wide and smaller than the HR; maybe the JH is just what I'm looking for. Pics would be much appreciated Heavy.

I'm with you...In pics I saw, the JH looked significantly longer than a BATAC and pretty similar in overall size to an HR. Let's wait for the pics to show up :)

Somewhere in the middle between BATAC and HR then....closer to the HR though. Thanks for the pic :)

It's a great looking design but I'm in the market for something smaller. Thank you for the pics. :thumbup:

Oh yeah, kow does it compare in thickness, about the same as the HR- or maybe a touch thicker?

The Jack Hammer is pretty much a Satin Jack TAC variant, hence the name ;)



I currently have mine riding in an Okuden SJTAC sheath :thumbup:
 
I would consider the HR a better all-rounder than the Jackhammer, which bottom line is just about a dedicated fighter. In the "cool" factor, though, the JH wins going away.

Actually, around my house, I see the Sarsquatch getting a lot of use, coupled with a BAD, and the HR and JH being safe queens.
 
In that size range... I would go with the HR all the way because it makes a better all arounder. The jackhammer is essentially a clip pt satin jack with CBTs. You can argue that the JH would be more pokie. I personally find the HR pokie enough for anything that needs poking :D

I like the look of the JH but if I was offered that or a HR I would take the HR every time. The HR to me has coolness off the charts, the JH is just a bit too close to a traditional bowie.

I agree with that. So much so that I no longer own the JH or the HR pictured above (wish I could keep them all!), but have 2 Sarsquatches now.
 
I am leaning more to the HR in the looks department. I just like the blade shape better.
