yeehahh. It's about time -- a nice three-day weekend followed by a couple of lackluster days at work -- then Blade.

I got plenty of work to finish up so I will be staying in the shop. For those of you taking the family out, be careful on those roads.

YEEEEHAAAAA!!!!

Nothing like a 3-day weekend to lift a man's spirits. The best part about Friday is that we get one EVERY WEEK! Thanks, Mike!

A mixed bag for me this weekend. I have a date at the pub with my son tonight >>BURP!<< So it looks like nothing in the realm of cutlery will be getting done tonight, hehee! I have a blade I'm working on right now - all is left before heat treat is some filework. I probably finish that by tomorrow night. Sunday: Maybe some paddling with the Missus. Monday: BBQ+BEER=HAPPYJEFF.

I guess I'll piddle a bit on my motorcycle, cut the grass, work on my comp knife and RELAX!!! This week has been so friggin boring.

The Civil War is comming to the farm for three days. Soldiers, cannons, horses and about 5,000 visitors. I'll be forging for the next four days straight. (Fri-Mon). One of my best $$$$ weekends at the shop.

Hope you all have a safe holiday.

Dry out. Tomorrow may have Jay Mulcahy and his tinkering neighbor come over to learn how to make damascus. His neighbor and myself should get along very well because I am a big tinker too. Plant garden ,get Indian running and take the Harley for a ride. :D

this workday refuses to be over. I think my clock is broken or something. :grumpy:

Oh yeah,

Friday is good :D Don't have any plans for this 3 day weekend other than mowing the lawn, drinking beer, riding the cycle, mess with some steel. :D :D

These plans are not necessarily going to be performed in the above order!

Got some exhaust work done on my truck earlier, and later tonight will start tear down of front of engine. Well, not real tear down, jsut enough to do timing belt and tensioner, then do accy belts while I'm in there, and distributor rotor cuz I didn't do it before when I did the cap. Probably spill over into tomorrow for that, as friend and I are going to see movie tonight. Then Sunday and Monday should brush the dust off the grinder and turn that on for a while, been a month or two, too long.

And got 2 sixpacks of guinness and 2 of Harp lager sitting over in kitchen. :)

Nope. I was trying to reinstall the software for my camera this morning for over a hour without sucess   before I signed on.

Well, now that its over I'll tell you I was with my hero father with a whole bunch (fewer every day) of heros, witnessing the acknowledgement of a whole generations sacrafices. Man it was awesome. A couple hundred thousand bikes and a bunch of tears marked Memorial Day on the mall of our capitol, and the dedication of their accomplishment so many years ago. I was honored and priviledged to be in their company. I thank THEM, and ALL our servicemen and women past and present. The freedom of our country, no, the FREEDOM of the WORLD rests on their shoulders. May God Bless Them All.
