Jian

Anybody own any nice jians?
I am learning michuan jian or rather a likeness thereof.
I plan on getting a nice one sooner or later but for now have made a wooden one from a hickory sledgehammer handle.

I do have an Adam Hsu taichi sword but it isn't ideal, no decent jian has a blade that flexes easily or is so light.

how much are you looking to spend, Bambooleaf?

Oh, it depends, I am planning on saving up, but I am not ready to spend anyway. I'll make use of the wooden version for a few years before I am ready to do test cutting anyway. I am thinking Huanuo perhaps, but I am also considering some custom work.
I like slightly shorter blades as it is, 21-26 inches or so.
