I'm sure all of you know how difficult it can be to find that "perfect knife." After several years of searching, I finally decided it was time to have one custom made.

After handling an "Entry Tool" made by Jim Burke, I was positive that I finally found my custom knife maker! I instantly fell in love with the smooth and comfortable feel of the handle, and the craftsmanship on this knife was outstanding! I explained to Jim in great detail exactly what I wanted my knife to look like, and he was confident that he could make it happen.

Alas! ...many moons later I have my "perfect knife"! The blade is black powdercoated stainless steel and measures about 5-1/2" long, and 2" at it's widest point. The overall length is about 10-1/2". I can hardly wait to go out and use it! I'll bet this thing can chop thru wood like nobody's business! Honestly, this knife is everything I wanted and more (and it's one of a kind!). Jim is a great guy and a master at making blades. If you ever have the chance to pick up one of Jim's beautiful knives, I would highly recommend it!!!

Thanks again, Jim!

Dude, that is an awesome design! And Jim is a true craftsman, I jusr recently got a big custom folder from him. Post pics when you use it, it looks like a real worker.

Thanks!!! And yes, this knife will do PLENTY of chopping! LOL. Anyone have any suggestions for a good kydex sheath maker?

Very, very nice! The blue liners are a great touch.

I just sent the knife off to Poland today for a custom kydex sheath! As soon as it returns home I'll snap some pics and post them here.
