Working Progress here!...This is the new “Rockstar” model folder from Burke Production Knives. Machined by Lee Nottingham Jr.
It features a CPM 154 blade, 6AL4V Titanium frames and pocket clip, 6AL4V Titanium backspacer, Hardened 440C Pivot Pin, and all stainless thumb stud and hardware.
The titanium frame and blade are both stonewashed. This model features the grooves v/s the checker style. The knife has silky smooth operation due to a pair of teflon washers with pockets ( or holes, similar to the umnum washers.) It comes in other colors.. another handle design. and there is an optional blade with tooling marks. A colored g-10 backspacer comes standard.

All I can say is this knife is finally the perfect balance of all my favorite knives in one package. Pros and cons to come..

Measurements- Which I am doing myself with my digital.
-Blade thickness- .127" or just a hair over an eigth of an inch
-Lock bar/slab thickness- .127" also
-Cutting Edge- 3.1" not including what the belly adds.. 3.2 inches to the handle. Not too much waste
-Handle Length- 4.428" an extra .040 with the titanium spacer v/s the g-10 standard spacer. review on its way..

Thnks
Matt

Sorry the review is moving slow guys..
Thank you for the great feedback. The knife cuts amazing and has a very nice profile..

If any one has any questions please ask.
I highly reccomend it..
Ive owned alot of knives.. and at about a 225-275 price tag used.. They are a great value. I picked this one off a forum friend for 225. Luv it.

Pocket CLip- The pocket clip on this knife is not as large as it looks. You cannot even feel it when you are gripping the knife.. So you have a clip that you cannot feel, however it rides with about 3/4 inch above the pocket. I acutally love the look of the clip.. And I carry it inside pocket when im in the woods.. or working..
The knife feels so soft in the hand..

Review will be complete tonight.. check back.. Will get all bases covered..

I had a custom version for a while, its a real nice knife and a bit of a sleeper. The only issue I had with it is the thumb stud is too slick so it was quite difficult to get a purchase on it.

Its also a smallish knife (for me anyway).

Yeah .. I hear ya buffalo..
I would never spend the money on the custom... I also agree this thing is a sleeper.. I knew nothing about it untill I purchased it.
At 225$ for a Pro model.. Its another story. The thumb stud design works better for flipping than for opening slowly..
I just made a few new studs on my lathe. Let me know if want one that works great. I think I have 1 aluminum thumb stud left that I have not tapped yet.
Yeah.. Its a mid size knife not large.
I work so much I cannot get this damn review done..
Sorry
