Hello Folks,

I'm new to the forum but can easily see that this is THE place to go to get good, accurate info...

My question regards Mr Ragsdale... I had occasion to meet the man last weekend at a knife show in Md, enjoyed chatting with him and found myself unable to resist one of his smaller utility knives. Fact is, the more I look at the knife, the more I want addl pieces of his work.

I was just curious if anyone out there knows Mr Ragsdale and/or has any of his blades and, if so, what the general consensus on his work might be.

Thanks in advance for any info anyone can provide,

John

John,

Ive known Jim for over a decade. His work is clean, crisp and affordable. Any of his knives would be a welcome addition to your collection.

I appreciate that information Mr Robertson, I guess deep down after talking to the man and getting a chance to look over his knives I didn't really expect to hear anything different than what you had to say...

A person sees a lot of fine knives at these shows - but I haven't seen too many that I wanted to buy before I even got to the table good... I guess that's what you might call an "impluse buy"... Oh well, my impulse is to get a few more...

Thanks again,
John

I totally agree with Les. I too have been lucky to get to know Jim a little and his knives always tempt me.
