Exquisite set. Stag like that seems to be getting harder to find these days. I would like to see the top view of the file work too!

So cool seeing some more of Jim's work. I had the privilege of being at the ABS ceremony when Mr. Schmidt was inducted into the hall of fame. I too want to see the top view.

Looks flawless. I had never heard of Jim Schmidt until a recent conversation I had with Jim Crowell. Nice to see his work on here.

the name inside the Clip is " Jim's Dandy "

Schmidt made the file work resemble an actual rope complete with knot and frayed end

Hello!

Really great stag handles! Just got to love great material like that!

The only thing I am not so much drawn to, is that large stag thumb stud(?) on the dagger. Somewhat interferes with the flow of the knife to my eyes and makes the blade look very short compared to the great handle.
