In this Months Knives Illustrated
Anyone see it?

I drove up to Jim Coopers House to meet Jim Siska with a few of My knives fro them to Photograph for the article.Jim did a Fine Job on the pics!!
And Jim did a Fine job on the knives :D

I gave Jim the Idea of that New Logo with the Hammer Over his name which denotes a Hand forged Blade

I need one of these Magazines for my collection please.

And for good measure, Jim Built this knife from the first piece of slow twist damascus he made up in Joe Szilaski's shop

I read the article. Very nice. So are the knives.

Prior to this thread, I did test an edge and whittled a few curls on the side of one page. But not on the article about Jim. It's in good shape aside from that. I'd be happy to send you mine if you don't get a better offer.

Your Siska collection always makes me drool, Ricky. Beautiful work--beautiful knives and images. Sorry I don't have a copy of the magazine for you.

You know I loves me some Siska knives....Jim is the awesome personified!

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

There are a lot of unsung heroes out here in the knife world besides Jim. Jim is a true craftsman and it is refreshing to see his work. It is a different era with internet popularity and the flavor of the month seems to take precedent over old school makers and old school technology.
