Great looking knife! Love the hidden auto. Only wish there was a lefty.

I wish there were too

As mentioned in the video there will be a limited run of Fires with a special grind this year for Blade

One is on its way to Coop right now for pics :)

And of course we will have the flipper at Blade also ........ Hopefully :)

Man that is a sweet configuration on that one. I love mine, wearing it now. Matt's one of the most talented makers I never knew of. After I got the folder I looked up his stuff online. Looks like he can make anything he wants.

I have carried a Disken Fire every day for over a year. The elmax steel is amazing. I have only had to do touch ups to keep it sharp (honing). I cut some sand paper the other day and managed to get it dull enough to need sharping.
I guess I need a new one. Black blade and lighting strike back bar please.

Don't tease me like that! You know how I get when there's a sniff of the Diskin flipper out there.

Special grinds suit the 'Fire" well in my opinion as demonstrated here with these wicked grinds on this custom Damascus "Fire".

I agree on the special grinds thing :)

Watching the video now. Not sure why Jim was surprised by how awesome the knife is.

Also, those custom grinds are SICK!

Couldn't agree more, Joe.
Congrats on a fine piece, Kevin.
Who made the steel ?
Doug

Thanks Joe.
Doug, Chad Nichols.
Very nicely executed blade steel, a deep etch with a nice chatoyance when held in the light.

I have always really liked these Joe. I prefer to carry an assisted open knife for EDC, and this would be just perfect. Hopefully I can snag one eventually.

where did all these different fires come from!? Looking forward to this new blade grind. Here's my normal Fire amongst the giants of those grinds and damascus :o

Joe, thanks for posting the vid. I haven't landed a Fire yet but look forward to it someday. Unfortunately, it won't be Blade this year so please grab some shots of the Blade Fires and post 'em up!

Kevin, I love the blade and the materials on your Fire...fantastic!!! Would love to get my mitts on one like yours when my time comes

Finedges, that is a super clean look. Nice blade!
