This past June, I was at the Blade Show in Atlanta. I saw a beautiful folding knife on a dealers table and was admiring the engraving on the bolsters. The dealer pointed out the engraver, standing right down the aisle. I introduced myself to the engraver, Jim Small from Madison, Georgia and showed him some pictures of my collection. We discussed him doing some engraving on one of my knives. We stayed in touch over the summer, he sent some pictures of his work (amazing!!!) and I sent him one of my Scott Sawby folders.
I just it it back today and I'm thrilled with the work Jim did...
Not only is he an amazing artist, he's also one hell of a nice guy...
He's got a few videos up on YOUTUBE... check them out.
