Jim Wagner blade compatibility

I'm interested in the Jim Wagner RBB automatic tanto, but I do not want a serrated edge. The only plain-edge tanto blade RBB knives Ive found are manual only (model 051)

My question is are the blades on the manual RBB's, specifically the plainedge tanto 051, compatible and interchangeable with the automatic RBB knives?

No Sir, they are not, they are totally different tang grinds and sizes.

I'd still get the manual version.

IMO I'ts much underrated

From first hand exp, that blade cuts like a bastard, I know.

Cut straight through what i was holding and through my index finger as well:yawn:

few stitches later I'm sold on it as SD blade.

In Australia No autos.

Their all aftermarket anyway aren't they

You are correct, in the US, all autos have been converted after the fact.
I know what you mean with the sharpness, I did the same thing, when I was testing one of the protos when they first came out.

Thanks for the quick response. Are there any plans for Boker to release an RBB automatic with a plain-edge tanto blade? For now I think I will be getting a Kalashnikov knife.

Sir,
No, and you should read the sticky at the top of the forum about Boker & auto knives. We don't make them, and due to the conversions, we have had to change the design of the knives, to keep the conversions from occuring.
