OK Guys I'm taking names for the first Salsa from our new company.

It is the knife on top , the Jimmy Lile Regular #7 collaboration. The other knife is due in about 75 days and I will Salsa it as well as at least one of every knife we ever make. You guys will always see them first.

So here is the deal. Everyone who wants to see the new knife just email your snail mail address to salsa@wowinc.com

I will include everyone who emails us before midnight on Sunday September 1st. Then I will send the knife to the first person on the list and ask that you keep it for no more than 1 week then mail it to the next person on the list.

Here are my rules.

You must have at least 100 posts here to qualify and you must include your bladeforums screen name.

Simply copy and paste the following into your email and fill in the blanks.

Just keep the same box and if I can I will even include the lables for the next person you should mail it to. Just peel off the next one in line and ship it on. Keep WOW as the return address in case it gets lost.

Then report back here with what you think no later then a day or so after you mail it to the next person. Let the next person (screen name only) know they are next on the list. We need your feedback and this is a great way to get it and you get to play with knives! :D

Sorry but we must limit this to US addresses.
 
I wonder if two years from now, (ie: 100 people sign up and I'm last)I get a knife in the mail and completely not remember what's going on.

Heh, kinda like a time capsule. ;)

E-mail on the way. This sounds like a great way for us to try a knife out, and for you to sell a lot more. I applaud your keen sense of promoting business. It's a win, win situation. Just one question, can one member participate in more than one salsa. Thanks.

I think Mike is using SALSA as referring to the first spyderco salsa passaround. In that thead he commented he was going to do the same when he got his company going.
 
The term Salsa has now become generic for pass around knives here at BFC. "Pass the Salsa" I guess.

You can participate in as many of my pass arounds as you like. I will be passing around at least on of each knife we make as they come in. You guys will get to see 'em and fell 'em first.

I want you guys to see the quality that is now coming at a price anyone can afford, which is the main theme of our knives at BOSS and LILE.
 
Arrggg... OK I screwed up. The Salsa is going back out. On it's way yo California then Texas after that. I would tell you how I screwed up but you wouldn't believe it.
 
Dont worry about it, I'll beleave just about any screwup I've pulled a few that the witnesses where sworn to secrecy and threatend with decapitation if they ever mentioned it again. So far I've had to take 2 heads :D




ps: when are the catalogs going out, I want to be the first dealer in my area.
