Jimping on a Spyderco Khukuri

I was wondering if you do any jimping work. I have been carrying a Spyderco Khukuri as an EDC lately. It's a great design but I would feel more comfortable with jimping along the blade spine and finger choil when I choke up on the blade. Please let me know if that is anything you have time to take care of.
Thanks,
Mark

Mark I've done that for folks on occasion. I have to do them slow but I've done it many times. I have a work order form top the page thats a sticky thread always up top here in my forum on page one. Its titled, "Read this if you need to mail me work" so find that and fill out the form using the pdf form and your key pad and print. Then mail that with the knife. I'll do the rest. If you want to stick $10 in the envelope to cover the shipping home and somethin' for me thats cool too and if you want to donate to STR's refreshment fund well, thats always appreciated too! :D

Thanks

Got your folder in the mail today.

Here ya go. It has made a tremendous diff in how it feels in the hand.

These are always hairy for me because once you mark you mark but this one turned out fairly well and I am sure you'll appreciate the feel diff. Here are a couple before and after shots. Although not great shots they show it enough to get the idea. Thanks. Nice knife by the way. First one I've seen.

Received the knife back in the mail today. Thanks for the great job. The knife feels so much more secure in the hand. I'm sure one of the great joys in your "job" is being able to handle alot of knives without spending obscene amounts of money. Thanks again.

Yep almost like gettin' paid to do a pass around at times. :D

Seriously I had not seen that folder. I knew about it but it was nice to actually play with one. Thanks for trusting me with it.

hi there STR,
just wondering if you'd be up to doing another set of jimping on a khukuri for me? I saw the posts over on the spyderco forums at first and was talking to the guy that just got his done and it looks like it will really help get a grip on the knife.

Well I guess so. I would need my work order filled out and printed to be mailed with the folder. Find that at the top with the sticky posts. "Read this if you need to mail me work".

Thanks

Ok thanks STR,
Also how do the payments here work?
I'd like to use paypal but what do you prefer? Do I need to enclose cash in the envelope? And how much do your services cost?:)

thanks!

Pay Pal is fine. Its all there with my email that is also my pay pal address on the form when you get to that part. Thanks

Alright thanks, Ill most likely end up doing cash if I have it available when Im packing up the knife. Also, does this work void the warranty on the knife..? Im guessing so? Would spyderco ever work on it if I had any troubles with it in the future?

thx

Definitely voids the warranty yes.

No way around that unfortunately. If thats important to you I'd suggest leaving it alone.
