I am looking to do some jimping on my current knife project. I have seen very little in terms of pictures of custom jimping that runs the blade in wavy patterns. I was wondering if anyone on the forum here had some pictures to share of their jimping for some inspiration?
Any photos would be much appreciated!

It is generally called "File Work". The pattern you describe is "rope" or "vine". Jimping is a series of grooves or notches along a section of the spine for traction of the thumb.

Here is a place with lots of tutorials:

Scroll down to the file work section.

The Gallery usually has lots of knives with filework.

This is the BF search engine. Plug in "file work" and you will get lots of discussions, tutorials, and photos:

A simple google search for "knife file work photos" should get hundreds of photos.

Wow! Those look great! On the first one is the vine that is on the handle part still bumpy or did you fill it to make it smooth with the handle top?

The vine pattern is filled with epoxy. The epoxy overflows when the handle scales are first put on. I then grind the scales until they just meet the tang. The dried epoxy stays in the recesses of the vine pattern.
