Heya Becker-Peoples,

Hehehe.. My Bk-11 has been through another rigorous adventure...putting up my mother-in-law's HUGE christmas tree..and I don't mean a fake one either. That was rough. Fortunately I'd brought along tools, which included the Bk-11. Used the 11 to trim the lower branches, top the sucker, and even level the base. It was easy. Worked just fine. Now it smells like pine resin. :-) Christmas time is here folks. We've been wrapping gifts (I tend to cut the wrapping paper with the Bk-11 when no one is looking..and say it was scissors..scissors suck compared to my Bk-11), putting up trees.. It's been fun so far. My wife likes to add bows on the gifts so I'm assuming the 11 will play a role in that as well..ugh..yuck. How bout you guys? Anyone using their Bk's for the same or similar purposes?

:-) No my dog didn't really lay an egg. :-P

I used my BK9 to trim and shore up my Mom's tree. My folks aren't surprised at my knife wielding anymore.

Yup used my 9 to cut off the lower branches of mine as well and used my 14 to cut the top down some. I wanted to chop down my own tree completly but the only place we could find to cut your own tree was quite a distance away so we just went to lowes.

One thing I forgot to tell you Worldwood! I slaughtered bout 75 douglas firs with that warsword:D (I sold christmas trees once) and no matter how much it has been washed, it smells like fresh pine! The scent of that blade is amazing :) and Now when I think of steel having a smell, I smell pine!

Last time I was wrapping gifts I did not have any Beckers, This year my Bk-14 will probably help with that ].

I used my BK24 to threaten my kids to quit asking about what were in all the presents under the tree.

We use a fake tree that already has lights, and can be set up in about 5 minutes.

I do use it to cut wrapping paper, and it gets some serious use on Christmas morning, opening up toys and cutting the zip ties that they seem to wrap EVERY DAMN TOY IN THESE DAYS!!!!!!!!:grumpy:

Sorry for that.

Moose

Jingle bells, mortar shells, VC in the grass!
Take your Merry Christmas cheer,
And shove it up your *ss!
