I have an extremely happy day today, my first custom knife arrived.
Designed and made by Josh Jonas.
In return for designing his logo he made me this awsome knife!
Thanks again Josh if you're reading this.

The blade is CPMS35VN, hand ground by Josh Jonas.
I measured it 3.8mm (0.1496") thick, 90mm (3 5/8") long edge, 111mm (4 3/8") handle, 35mm (1.38") at the widest point and a total length of 210 mm (8.27")
It was heat treated by BOS, heat treat to a Rockwell hardness of 60.
The edge is 34* and very sharp. Handles are G10, contoured and with a slight palm swell.

To quote the maker himself: "The logo isn't perfect, I'm still learning. The handles aren't perfect, still learning that too."
It's the second knife he's ever made.... I think it an amazing knife and the imperfections are minor and just cosmetics.
Ergonomics are a dream, it absolutely melts in my hand.
The width of the blade protect your fingers while cutting/stabbing.

Sorry for my not so superb photo skills, but this is the best I could do.
It doesn't do the knife justice as it look much much better in life.

Serious beauty

I haven't put this beauty to serious work yet but I'm sure it'll perform amazing.
It's incredibly sharp, very beautiful and I hope you guys enjoyed the pictures.
If you ever get the chance to acquire Josh's work, don't hesitate.

Like the handle design, with a bit more width near the back to help maintain control as you tip the blade front. Nice.

Didn't know we had a member in Den Bosch! Used to visit a lot in the 90's on business!

I like that knife. Big belly and curve for a lot of cutting, looks like it would feel good in the hand!
