Alright - Jeremiah Johnson is on AMC again right now. It's been agreed on here before that the Western W49 bowie was actually used and Cooper's was made for the photo shoots.

So, for the fun of it - which knife would you give JJ if "they" were to remake that movie today.

Personally? May not be proper for the era, but a long bladed Scagel style knife by Jim "Treeman" Behring would fit the bill - not only are they purdy but fully functional no-doubt.
