Got a couple new ones today. The Blue one was my design that Stomper did a great job bringing to life. It incorporates my favorite feaures of several of my all time favorite and it 01 with a 51/2 and Blue diamond wood with yello liners.

The other was a mistake, I ordered the Condor 4 inch Bush craft but they sent me the two inch instead, it is razor sharp and well made but 2 inches??

Looks like a great combo nonetheless! The Condor could make for a good pocket fixed blade for carving. Love the blue on that JK

Well on the plus side, the sheath for the Condor looks well made.

I'm liking that JK. Looks like a great user. Could you talk a bit about the features you included in the design and why? I'm always interested to learn about what goes into others' custom designs.

All the best,

- Mike

The front of the blade is a cross between the Grohman number four and the Nessie type point, The Ramp was more or less a product of the Bravo series. The handle shape was patterned after a kitchen knife that really fits my hand for long periods of use. I went with the 1/8 inch because I think a 3/16 is kind over kill even for medium/hard use knives, JMO. I wanted a knife that took the best points of my favorite knives rolled into one.

Stomper nailed this one. I didn't get a good shot of the yellow spacers but John has some better picture on his forum under Dakota Badlander, which was my name for the knife. The blue handle about took my breath away. Stomper is great at bringing your dream knives to life.

I think that little condor is cool. I didn't know they made a 2in version. Where did you find it in stock?

Did you get a refund or credit for the difference? Great design on the JK, john does some great work. I love mine.

Thanks for the opportunity to bring your knife to life, I enjoyed making it for you. Here`s a couple more shots of it.

The blue scales and yellow liners are very striking. Great color combo.

I like that JK a lot. I like the handle on it, looks extremely functional.

I sat here for about an hour last night just holding onto it. Come on spring, I dare you.:D

I may have to have another made with the extended Pommel.:)

I guess the little Condor will make a decent little last ditch knife, The quality is sure there, great little sheath too.
