I came home today to a nice package which came in the mail. After the day I had today this was an extra nice box to find from the Post Office.
My JK Anniversary EDC Knife came in the mail today from John along with the pocket sheath, belt sheath, and another sheath I ordered for my SAK with fire steels.
I can honestly say I am truly impressed and John has made another long term customer here.

I had to block out my Agency name in that picture. My Department is touchy about that and it's a set rule.

Here's a picture of the knife up close on my vest. This is John's green micarta handle and it came out incredible. The pictures do not do this justice. I'm glad you didn't keep this one John ;)

I ordered one of John's pocket sheaths to go along with this knife and a matching fire steel. This knife will truly be my EDC and will be in my pocket when on duty also as a backup.

I also had John make me a leather belt sheath for this knife for hunting season in addition to a leather sheath with fire steel for my Victorinox Soldier 2009.

John I can't thank you enough for this set up and guarantee you there will be more orders coming. I also have to throw a shout out to Todd for posting his knife on thehighroad.org where I first spotted this knife. I had been looking for a knife exactly like this for a while and had never heard of John until Todd's post. Thank you Todd.
John thank you for making me exactly what I wanted.

John did a great job on yours.

Hope you like using it as much as I love mine.

Nice knife! The Anniversary Knife design definitely makes a great shape for an EDC blade. And that green Micarta looks awesome. Now let's see some in-use pics, mrbear!

All the best,

- Mike

Yeah it was raining pretty good here that day.
There will be more pictures of this one. Trust me.
and the Kephart I'm trying to decide what type of handles I want before I get in John's book again...
:):):)

I was actually going to start a thread on what would be the best wood for a "traditional" Kephart. I`m going to make one with 1/8" brass pins and some traditional looking wood, maybe walnut, maple, or oak. Of course that new maple burl I got in would be pretty sweet. ;)

Congrats! That's a great lookin EDC

Just received my first JK knife yesterday as well, and like you, I was impressed and foresee much future business with John :)

Great set. I'm glad you found this place and John's fantastic working knives.
That is a great looking set.
Now whenever I get pulled over by a Sheriff in New York I'll have to give my name as Protourist just in case it's you;).
