Been a while so I thought I'd post a few pics of the Otter Creek. Making some spruce shakes for my wood shed.

Glad to hear the new one is coming up. Really looking forward to that.
I don't usually think of taking pics when I'm out doing stuff. I will be making a hay fork from a maple sapling tp day. I'd be happy to post pics if you want to see them.

Haha.Great post,love the froe & mallet.
It looks like the mallet is made out of one piece of wood?:cool:
 
The mallet is made out of a single piece of hard maple. The froe is made from a leaf spring and a pice of pipe.
