There is a thread in the WS+S forum that some of you may be aware of...basically asking for recommendations for my 8 yr old a new knife. John, came up with an offer I couldn't refuse and now my boy is getting this:

John,

as one of my buddies has said, you have restored the faith in me in that there are still good people out there. You are a top notch gentleman. Thank you in advance from myself and Caden, my son!

First JK in the house and I am sure it won't be the last..

That is a great blade. Your son will treasure it forever.

John is a sucker for kids.:)

This is my son's first JK.

The matching firesteel and steel/knife combo pocket sheath were a surprise from John. I just ordered the knife and a pocket sheath. John knew the knife was for my boy, and made his first custom extra special. John also came up with the Indigo Diamond wood scales since my son's favorite color is blue.

(he now also has one of koyote's knives,that I traded a JK for.Sorry John :o )

John, a class act move as always. Not to mention you likely just made two customers for life with that blade.

Now Edge, pick out what you want for yourself. Those new Huron bushcrafters are pretty nice.

That will bring a lifetime of memories to him. I wish I had had something like that when I was a kid.
