Hey all,
got a package in the mail today from john, (JK Knives) and it came with friends

So here we have a standard top K hiker in Zircote next to a brand next bottom K hiker in ebony, both with firesteels in there own handle material, also...it came with friends. john had hinted that he was sending something else (I'd thought wood scraps to make a matching beads maybe) bu no, it was much much more:

A Klein tools T-29 (date stamp is S-3 which I'm still researching) and a Camillus TL-29 that looks like it dates to the 70's at least, maybe after 1976, maybe before, can't make up my mind,
Anyone who missed it, i have a small collection of this pattern, the one one I collect by pattern, and John sent these on to my...just cause he's a nice guys

these will now be meaningful and interesting additions to the collection

In cleaning them up 9after the pictures) I found that the Klein tool had been engraved by one owner to have the initials "SAJ" a nice touch, and one of the reasons I like this pattern people try to make them there own, I'll have to get a picture of that to!

So, thank, John, for the great Hiker and fireteel and the wonderful gift of traditional knives, it was a nice surprise this morning to say the least!
