No pics yet. My Original has ipe handles that I sanded a bit to fit my grip better. I also coated the handle with clear nail varnish to seal and make it more impervious to the elements.

I asked John to make me a pocket style sheath with matching firesteel, and to shorten the blade a bit too. This knife is thicker than my usual 1/8 style and I LOVE IT! Next to my Phoenix (my design) and my EWOK (my modified idea) this is my favorite JK.

First pic. It just cut up my sausage for supper and is now my fav big little knife. Fat handle and thick blade that I sharpened to a toothy sharpness and it is a perfect mid-sized blade!!

Awesome, and ipe is a fantastic wood--good choice on both the knife and the handle material
