JK put to good use today

Went out today with a friend to a private quail operation for some dog training on early release birds. We took only one bird out of each covey. Brought a few of the quail home and decided to fry along with some crappie already in the freezer.

Put my JK to good use on the birds. Actually did most of the work with fingers and game shears but did a little work with the JK separating breasts and legs.

Yum. I wish we still had some working dogs. I love me some quail. so easy to clean and super tasty.
