Hi folks -

I took some "portrait" pictures of the passaround scandi this evening for your enjoyment (and mine!).

I have been using this knife for kitchen duty this week, and it is performing very well.

I really like the smaller and thinner blade on the scandi.

Here are the pictures and a surprise hint. :D

The knife looks great and so does whatever that is under the knife in the last pic. :D

Hi folks -

More pics of the Scandi in action -

I used it to cut up turkey breast for my lunches for the week -

I am tending to use my index finger on the spine of the blade, just seems to feel right -

With knifenut's excellent sharpening job, the thing cuts through turkey like butter.

Last night I had a small sirloin while I read the new Russell's Catalog for Men -

The scandi makes a superb steak knife!

Next up will be some carving and wood cutting before I send the knife on to the next reviewer.

The more I see this knife the more I`m thinking about adding it to my line. ;)

HI Stomper -

I am in for one, and I know jds1 said he wanted one as well.

One thing I have noted is that, when using it at the table, it would be better if it were a little thinner, it will not go through the tines on a table-fork.

Other than that, it has been awesome! Tonight we'll cut up a xmas tree and do a little carving!

I could always go to 3/32" stock.

Stomper, I want to put my order in for one now! I would like it made exactly like the one pictured here, same thickness, same scales, same pins, same lanyard, except I would like mine to have "Thumb or Finger Serrations". I would like the sheath to be the same as pictured also! Where will this order end up on your schedule? Can I maybe pick this up at the "Gathering" in September? Thanks!

Shoot me an email with the specs you want. That way I`ll have it on file. It will go in the August schedule, but picking it up in September is no problem!

O.K. Stomper! What is the thickness of that original blade? And I don't remember exactly what the scales material was? Is that White Oak?
