Been playing with this great knife today as part of a passaround. When I got it the 1st thing I liked was the sheath very nice I think. 2nd thing was the shape of the handle, very comfortable. I need a new camera I know. Anyway I decided to use it to split a match which worked great. In the photo you can see the tip of the match gone. That was my fault. The knife did its job perfect. I made some fuzzies with one of the matches. I used different parts of the blades to check the edge. No problems there. I want a new camera because some of the fuzzies were so fine my camera wouldn't focus that small. If I was to chance anything I would square off the spine. I was lookinig real hard at my belt sander but refrained from modding it :).Over all this knife is AWESOME for its size. Highly recommend.

Thanks

Nice looking blade. Looks like it did a great job making fuzzsticks. I really like the scandi grind for a bushcraft knife.

Thanks for the review! This was actually the first scandi I did, it`s been making the rounds since January. I did not put a lot of thought into the knife itself, just kind of made a basic shape to test out the grind. Actually the spine was originally sharp, but the first reviewer cut his thumb on it, so he rounded it slightly.

:D
Just a little. I used some sandpaper and took off the edge slightly where one would put their thumb. I left the rest squared so it could be used for firesteels and the like.

The knife looks like it would be a great user blade. Thanks for the review
