My sheath came a part on my JK hiker. I purchased this new from a private party last week. Is this covered under any warranty or can I send this in for repair??

It looks like the stitching was cut by having the knife inserted twisted or tilted instead of straight. In order to sew a belt loop back on you really have to cut all of the stitching on the edge, open up the sheath, restitch the belt loop and restitch the sheath closed. I suspect John will either offer to fix it or give you a replacement--I would offer to make one but I don't have the time to do that at the moment.

Hey John, you think a little extra leather glue or a small leather patch over those threads on the inside of the sheath would hold those from getting cut by the blade all the time? Or isn't there a groover for leather, so that the thread lays under the surface of the leather? It's been so long since I have seen a leather tools book now, I don't remember what tools are out there. I'm sure with technology they have probably come up with a lot of new tools too! Let me know how you will fix the problem just for S & G! Later!
