Hi folks -

I recently talked John into making an ice/frost scraper out of Concealex!. Here is a picture of what John came up with:

This morning the frost was hard - it was 8 degrees at my house, so while my truck was warming up, I took a vid of the sKraper in use -

The sKraper works great! This was the kind of frost that is hard and does not come off easily - unless you have a sKraper!

Thanks John - Will need one for the wife to use!

best regards -

I will bump this up to the top - it won't be long now until you'll need your sKraper!

I still have mine in the truck and use it extensively - it works perfect for those heavy frost days when your vehicle sits outside.

It could be worse. You could live in Mandan.

I shivered a little when I read the word 'Mandan'! I've been there...in the winter! Not fun. Overall though a nice little town.

BTW, is the JK sKraper an item John regularly sells? I go through a few Wal-Mart cheapies every winter. It would be nice to get something that works well and isn't Chinese junk.

I am bumping this up to the top again -

With the recent foul winter weather in my area, once again the most used JK in my collection is my sKraper!

It has gone through three seasons now and it still is working better than any other scraper I have used - you should see it go through that hard frost that you see in the cold mornings around the cornfields in Central Illinois.

Just a friendly bump for the new folks, and a reminder for the others that this one is available -

Since it's a sunny 85 degrees here today, I wonder if the sKraper can be used to apply sunscreen.

Sure could! Or to scrape the dust from the car in the morning! It's truly the tool for everyone! :P

It needs a bottle opener option too dang it,they're all the rage now a days don'tcha know? ;) :D

With the increase in cost for the thicker kydex, these cannot be reasonably made, so they can`t be ordered.

Andy`s original post was from 2 years ago, the prices have gone up considerably since then. Then there is postage too.

how thick was that kydex?
I have some tan stock that is .100 thick.
you start with a 5-6" square then fold and cut off corners?
