this bad boy showed up today and it's awesome. a freaking tank but still light and fast in the hand. I can't really get out and beat on it for about a week but I am very please. I'll post up some simple pics here in a minute of it getting a little use
specs are 14 inches long, 1/4 thick 01 steel, 7 inches from spike to edge. handle is about 1 1/4 inches wide (I can never decide which is the best way to describe this lol)
well I went out and chopped some hard oak with it and it's a freaking beast. using the spike to smack into the end you can damn near split 4 inch plus rounds with it. it has some serious bite even on hard wood. very great product. it's really hard to get the great orange scales to show but I finally got one. I know I suck with the camera but you get the idea lol. if you need a great entry tool, or a indestructible hawk this is it. I haven't thrown it yet but it should work fine for that also. it would make a great camp hawk too.
ohhh and the obligatory 7 chop test. busse bwm, jk spike hawk max and belt hawk. by far the spike hawk does the most damage. it's not a great photo but you can kinda see it.
