Howdy. I've been a member here a while and don't post much. But again, BF has been the place to find the answer to what I was looking for once more. Kudos to the BF team.

I just posted a video review of the Justin King Practical Field Knife on Youtube. It is a lot longer than most of my video gear reviews, so I apologize to folks for not making it shorter. Hopefully it helps someone looking for a knife like I was.

Thanks again to Justin King for answering all my questions. It is my first custom knife so it was a little dicey for me.

WOW I like that alot. I agree with smaller blades for deployments. Plus 3V. Ill diff have to contact

Good luck to you man. If you are still serving watch yourself if you have to go back over.

Nice review and thank you for your practical field perspective. I am definitely interested in these blades from Justin because of the design and the steel. I believe his HT is from Peters as well...so I see only good things about this blade.

And for those of you serving out there...please be careful and come back home safely.

Excellent review. I have one of these knives by Justin and so far I have been very impressed. Not only tough, but the blade profile and grind makes it handy in the kitchen too. One caution - CPM3V is good stuff, but it is not very corrosion resistant so some care should be taken to wipe the blade clean after use. Do that and no worries. Thanks

Thanks for the cleaning note. So far I have been wiping the blade clean with a little water. I haven't used any oil or wax on it yet. I also haven't stropped it yet, the edge is still very keen.

This is one of the best review videos I have ever seen, seriously. You actually discussed what features you needed, what was missing in your last knife, and how this knife improves on it. Then you showed the actual field-testing.

I wish all video reviews were like this. You should do more videos. I'll watch them.

Thank you. My son leaves for basic training this fall. This seems like a great gift option.
