Holy Cow, Uncle Bill was right, Yangdu must be pretty doggoned persnickety to have tagged this one as a blem. This one's plumb sweet, the blade is a nice, light, 3/16" thick, and very well hardened and tempered (as witnessed by how much pressure I had to put on my diamond hone). What a sweet little belt knife, for only thirty bucks, Holy Cow. :)

Dave, this one fairly screams EDC, so I'm going to make it a nice tooled cowhide scabbard and it's gonna live on my belt. Eventually I might order some smooth bone handle slabs from Texas Knifemaker's supply and give it a "deluxe" handle, complete with scrimshawed Norse/Celtic knotwork designs. "Sheeple" are less intimidated by stuff that's "purty".;)
