I finally got my hardware squared away enough to edit and post pics again. Here's my faithful JKM-1 with some slight ergonomic adjustments, specifically a choil and some filework on the spine.

Nice job Raggy! Well done, very practical, and easy on the eye to boot. A good knife made even better, gotta love it.

Sweet! I'm almost to the point of asking Uncle Bill to dig one up for me by Kumar (the two largest grips I have are by him...)

Thanks, Sarge. You're the one that started me down this slippery slope of blade grinding. :D BTW Nasty, mine's by Kumar also.

Speaking of grinding blades, how'd that file knife you were working on turn out? I'm sitting here right now sanding the grinding marks off a fresh made blade, pausing every so often to hit the refresh button natch.

Here's what it looks like today, along with the other half of the file which appears to be evolving into a wharncliffe. I ordered some finishing belts for the grinder this week (thanks Dan!), so hopefully it'll be prettied-up soon.

Very nice work there Raghorn. Those JKMs are like the Nepalese equivalent of the Finnish Puukko. Very handy little knife.

You're a man after my own heart Raggy, waste not, want not. If you saw the latest batch of my file knives that Greg was kind enough to post for me, it'll tickle you to know that both the Sgian Dubh and the 3 3/4" blade work knife came from one big old rusty Nicholson file I picked up at a flea market for 50 cents. Dirty deeds done dirt cheap ;-)

Dirty Deeds pretty much nails it... I'm surprised SWMBO hasn't thrown me and my stinking grinder out of the basement and into the yard already. ;)
